## 6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We share personal data only in the following circumstances:

### Service Providers

We engage third-party providers to help operate our website and communications. All are bound by data processing agreements or equivalent contractual safeguards that restrict their use of personal data to the provision of services on our behalf.

| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Microsoft Azure) | Website hosting, form handling, and storage of form submissions and subscriber records | European Economic Area; website pages may be delivered through Microsoft's global network |
| Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Microsoft 365) | Business email, enquiry handling, storage of form submissions and subscriber records, and newsletter distribution | European Union and EFTA (data at rest) |
| Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics, Google Search Console) | Website analytics and search performance | United States |

We may change the provider used for any of these purposes. We will update this Policy when we do.

### Legal and Regulatory Requirements

We may disclose personal data to competent authorities where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Argus Archive or others.

### With Consent

We will share personal data in any other circumstance only with the explicit consent of the relevant individual.

## 7. International Data Transfers

Some of the providers listed in Section 6 process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), as shown in that section. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, or outside the United Kingdom for visitors located there, we rely on a safeguard recognised under Chapter V of the EU GDPR or the UK GDPR, as applicable: an adequacy decision, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension, or the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, with the UK Addendum where required. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguard by contacting us at compliance@argusarchive.com.

## 8. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy:

- **Request data:** for as long as needed to respond to your request and continue our business relationship, and no longer than 3 years after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law. If you become a customer or partner, our Privacy Policy applies from then on.
- **Newsletter and marketing data:** until consent is withdrawn or you opt out, after which active subscription data is deleted within 30 days. Minimal suppression-list records may be retained to ensure future communications are not sent in error.
- **Website analytics data:** for 14 months from collection, and only where you have accepted analytics cookies.
- **Technical and security data:** retained for up to 90 days for security, diagnostic, abuse prevention, and operational integrity purposes.
- **Cookie choice:** stored only in your browser, for up to 12 months, after which we ask again. You can change it at any time using the "Manage consent" link at the foot of every page.

## 9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, disclosure, or destruction.

## 10. Your Rights

Individuals whose personal data we hold have the following rights under the EU GDPR and UK GDPR, subject to the exceptions and conditions set out in those laws.

### Right to Withdraw Consent

Where we rely on consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email or the "Manage consent" link at the foot of every page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at compliance@argusarchive.com with the subject line **"Data Subject Request"**, stating your name, the email address you used when contacting us, and the right you wish to exercise.
